Ospreys were seeking revenge for elimination at this stage at the hands of Munster this time last year. Only this time they were at home for a game which Ospreys fans will be talking about for years.

Munster got some revenge for their European exit at the hands of Ulster, but it comes at a price, with Paul O'Connell out for the rest of the season. Munster were already through, but a win would guarantee a tie v Ospreys, while Ulster needed a 5 point win on top of Scarlet and Warrior losses.

The Scarlets needed a win, an Ulster loss and a Warriors loss... they got 2 out of 3, but that wasn't good enough to get through to the final four. That said, this was a fantastically entertaining fixture!

In another end of an era game, Cardiff said farewell to a dozen stalwarts, but Alex Cuthbert upstaged the lot of them with a masterful hattrick in Welsh capital.

The Scarlets and Munster played out a physical draw as both sides looked to keep their season alive. 20-20 gave the side a shot at seeing the play-offs.

Shane Williams had his farewell game as the region came out in force to say goodbye to their departing hero, but in the context of the season, this game was vitally important - and the little wizard had a big say in the game, scoring a stylish try that gave the Ospreys a bonus-point!
